Green New Deal Going to the Senate for Vote?

by Daveda Gruber:

On Tuesday Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell R-Kentucky said that he wants to hold a vote on the “Green New Deal” resolution proposed by and authored by co-sponsors Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez D-N.Y. and Senator Ed Markey D-MA “to see how [Senate Democrats] feel about the ‘Green New Deal’.”

On Thursday the Democratic leader in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, slammed Republicans for planning a vote on the “Green New Deal.” Schumer labeled the forced vote a “stunt,” a “cheap, cynical ploy” and “a game of political gotcha.”

Schumer said on the Senate floor, “The Republican leader announced he’s going to bring up a resolution he intends to vote against. Now that is what the American people hate about Congress, the pointless partisan games.”

Schumer, who was joined by colleagues on the Senate floor, said, “Bring it on.” He also said Democrats “believe that we need to do something about climate change” he then added, “Do Republicans?”

The Green New Deal has been endorsed by nearly all top 2020 Democratic presidential candidates.

McConnell told reporters, “I’ve noted with great interest the Green New Deal. And we’re going to be voting on that in the Senate. We’ll give everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the Green New Deal.”

McConnell wants to force Democrats to officially go on the record for the radical proposal.

The proposal was put forward by Cortez and aims to transform the country’s economy in a bid to combat climate change. It was recently under examination that revealed that a related FAQ document included passages promising a job to “all people of the United States” that includes those “unwilling to work” and suggests that air travel could be made obsolete.

The document that is now deleted, told of getting rid of farting cows and airplanes within ten years. The goal has been changed to get to net-zero rather than zero emissions in ten years because they were not sure that they would be able to accomplish that as fast as they would like to.

McConnell’s move to bring the plan to a vote on the Senate floor would enlighten the public to what Democratic presidential candidates including Sens. Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren and Kirsten Gillibrand who are running on the progressive platform in 2020.

President Trump has not thought much of the co-sponsored deal and tweeted this:

Markey said, “Don’t let Mitch McConnell fool you, this is nothing but an attempt to sabotage the movement we are building. He wants to silence your voice so Republicans don’t have to explain why they are climate change deniers. McConnell wants this to be the end, this is just the beginning,”

If this is the beginning, I am not looking forward to more of this rhetoric. Something in my head tells me, “If you like your car, you can keep your car.”

I really don’t see super trains taking the place of airplanes and I don’t see everyone getting rid of their car for an electric one. We can’t stop cows from passing gas. So, no more steaks or burgers? That upsets me, as well. I enjoy a nice Filet Mignon on occasion.

I see these points being brought to light continuously in the 2020 election debates. The Democrats will try to sell the American people on climate change/global warming but I don’t believe the majority of people are ready to accept what the “Green New Deal” proposes.

The Islamification of American Government

by Daveda Gruber:

Many of you are familiar with a couple of congressional seats that were picked up by Muslim women and the first Muslim state attorney general put into office in Minnesota.  What you may not realize is just how many political offices were filled by electing Muslims in 2018.  Even more concerning is the high percentage of Muslims voting and their openness to promote the fact that they want to “change” our culture and society.

The information comes from JETPAC, which stands for Justice Education Technology Political Advocacy Center.  According to their Mission Statement: JETPAC seeks to build a strong American Muslim political infrastructure and increase our community’s influence and engagement. We will  take our place at the table across all levels of government. Our philosophy of change is rooted in a community-based approach, grassroots mobilization, civics training, and technology application. We have developed our own training curriculum, as well as proprietary social media technology and automation tools, to give our Fellows the skills and resources they need to win elections.

One wonders if some of those tools involve voter fraud, especially after what we witnessed in Minnesota. Irrelevant as to how they got into power, they are in our government and some actual American voters must have wanted it that way.

Let’s break down the Muslim wins from federal to the local level, and then we’ll sort them by states.

Those judiciary wins are extremely significant considering how judges don’t seem to be concerned about the Constitution anymore and look to foreign law and “precedent” in many of their rulings.

However, numbers from a report by Hamas-CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) in coordination with JETPAC indicates that a high percentage of Muslims voted in 2018. The report claims:

95% of Muslim voters participated in this year’s midterm election.

78% of Muslim voters primarily voted for the Democratic Party candidates and 17% for Republican Party candidates.

46% of Muslim voters consider themselves liberal on social issues, while 35% consider themselves conservative.

43% of Muslim voters consider themselves fiscally conservative, while 40% consider themselves liberal.

26% of Muslim voters who primarily voted for Democratic candidates perceived themselves as being conservative on social issues. Moreover, 36% perceived themselves as being fiscally conservative.

68% of Muslim voters thought Islamophobia and anti-Muslim sentiment in the U.S. increased while 17% thought it decreased in the past year.

78% of Muslim voters who primarily voted for Democratic Party candidates thought Islamophobia increased in the past year. Conversely, only 33% of Muslim voters who primarily voted for Republican Party candidates thought Islamophobia increased in the past year.

53% of Muslim voters became more interested in politics since the 2016 presidential election, while 34% maintained the same level of interest in politics and 13% became less interested in politics.

55% of Muslim voters have become more actively involved in politics and/or civically engaged since the 2016 presidential election, while 45% have not.

Out of those Muslim voters who have become more actively involved in politics and/or civically engaged since 2016 presidential election:

20% have primarily donated money to a political or social campaign.

25% have primarily donated their time by volunteering with a local charity or civic-minded or religious organization.

18% have primarily donated their expertise by using their skills and/or network to advance social/political engagement.

37% have primarily been involved in another way.

Yes folks; American voters put these people into office. The American people are the ones who maintain political correctness by showing that diversity can work. But really, does it? What will Muslims in power actually do with that power once there are enough of them to make the changes that their religion demands? You’ve all seen how a couple of freshman congresswomen spew antisemitic rhetoric. Don’t think for one moment that their thoughts are only focused on the Jewish population of America. Their religion doesn’t take kindly to Christianity either.

If you DON’T think they have an agenda to conform America to Islam, you really do need to pull your head out of the sand.

Rashida Tlaib Wrote a Column for Louis Farrakhan

by Daveda Gruber:

Anti-Antisemitism is lurking amongst new lawmakers in the House of Representatives. House Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-MI wrote a column  in 2006 entitled “Bills must stop deportations for minor offenses,” on The Final Call for Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

The Final Call is an online publication founded and maintained by Farrakhan.

Excerpts of what Tlaib, the freshman Palestinian American, wrote:

“Lost in the often-vitriolic national quarrel over immigration reform is any examination of proposed measures that would result in excessive punishment, such as detention and deportation, for the most minor offenses. Concern for “national security” has introduced unprecedented insecurity to living in the United States as a legal permanent resident.”

It’s easy to forget that detention and deportation have real and long-lasting effects on families. We are not able to see such negative effects right away, or immigrants fear speaking out.

After 9/11, fear between Arab and Muslim communities rose and remain widespread, as repressive policies seem to target particular nationalities.

Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) officials stated that this was part of a national operation to apprehend immigrants that committed violent crimes. However, reports from community members verified that ICE began knocking on neighboring homes one by one and took several people into custody without just cause.

There is no mention of these dangerous provisions in the debate. Over and over again, we hear about border security, legalization and national security, but there is no reference to maintaining our tradition and American values of keeping families together, providing a safe haven for the needy and advancing humanity.”

The full op-ed can be found HERE:

After publication, a spokesperson for Tlaib said in a statement, “As a former immigration attorney and advocate, Congresswoman Tlaib has published numerous articles about the need for immigrant rights. The goal was to educate citizens about the importance of passing just and humane immigration reform, which is still a priority for her district today.

The piece was from 2006 and was not an endorsement of Farrakhan or anyone for that matter. The Congresswoman has not had any direct contact with Farrakhan and condemns his anti-Semitic and anti-LGBTQ views.”

Tlaib later came under bipartisan criticism from Jewish groups for appearing with radical anti-Israel activists during her swearing in ceremony in Michigan. Some of the activists previously praised terror group Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorists saying that Israel has no right to exist.

Tlaib’s association with Farrakhan comes after strong criticism of her and other freshmen Democrats who have been accused of anti-Semitism.

Tlaib also has a prominent fundraiser who has partaken in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Tlaib’s Democratic colleague, another freshman, is Somali American Rep. Ilhan Omar D-MN. She has also faced similar criticisms for thoughtless remarks about Israel and Jewish advocacy groups in the United States.

So far, Democratic leadership has defended Tlaib and Omar. House Democratic Caucus Chair Hakeem Jeffries D-N.Y. and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer D-MD dismissed concerns of anti-Semitism last month. Hoyer said, “I don’t know that I draw the conclusion that these two members are anti-Semitic. I don’t accept that.”

Farrakhan is open on his rhetoric. In 1984, Farrakhan praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler when he said, “The Jews don’t like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that’s a good name. Hitler was a very great man.”

More recently Twitter took action against hate spewing Farrakhan when he shared a video warning about “Satanic Jews.” He wrote, “Will you recognize Satan? I wonder, will you see the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan, which has many races in it because Satan has deceived the whole world?”

His anti-Semitic vocabulary continued when he recently posted another video where he says that he wasn’t prejudiced against Jewish people but was simply “anti-Termite.”

Farrakhan and his followers went on a solidarity trip to Iran in November. In Iran he led “Death to America” chants. During the trip, Farrakhan told Iranian students that “America has never been a democracy,” and also led a “Death to Israel” chant at the end of his talk. This was reported by Iranian news agencies.

Antisemitism is not new in the U.S. or anywhere else, for that matter. The fact that it is out in the open and spewed regularly is disturbing.

It is pretty much still fresh in our minds what happened at the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood where eleven congregants died when they were gunned down by Robert Bowers.

Grammy Awards Spawn Pro-Trump Attire

by: Daveda Gruber:

Did you watch the Grammys last night? I tend to try to stay away from award shows as they produce a lot of anti-Trump dialect but I did watch the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center last night.

Since President Donald Trump’s election in 2016, the language at award shows makes me uneasy and I tend to hold the remote control ready to change the channel.  I was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t hear offensive rhetoric from famous people.

My finger was itching to click when Michelle Obama stepped on the stage but she didn’t say anything offensive. I stuck with the show and held onto my remote control. I was ready for anything.

Joy Villa, 27, has shown her support of Trump for a couple of years now. She has dressed in outfits that surely show off her sentiments. Last year, the singer donned a rainbow-colored anti-abortion dress and in 2017 she wore a blue ‘Make America Great Again’ gown that featured Trump’s name and slogan.

This year Villa made her annual MAGA statement on the 2019 Grammys red carpet by wearing another strongly conservative outfit. She donned a barbed wire border wall with a silver dress and crown with a red Make America Great Again purse. on her way into the Grammys

Once inside, she removed the silver and showed off a low-cut gown emblazoned with bricks and a back that read, “BUILD THE WALL.” Villa’s dress was designed by Desi Designs Couture.

Villa told Fox News about her ensemble, “Well to no surprise, I’m still a Trump supporter and supporting the president and what he’s doing. One in three women who are trying to come to this country illegally are sexually assaulted. Thousands of children are sexually exploited by coyotes bringing them across the border. Seventy percent of the heroin in our nation is brought in through Mexico. This is not personal against this country or the people. It’s not about race. It’s about protecting the people who are in this country. I’m Latina, I’m black. I support what the president says about building the wall, so that’s what this dress represents.”

Villa has spoken out on her support of Trump in her tweets:

Then there was Ricky Rebel.

Rebel, 38, sported a blue jacket that read “KEEP AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” down the front lapels with a white shirt and pants. He accessorized with patriotic star glasses and white heeled boots.

The back of Rebel’s jacket simply read “TRUMP.”

Rebel said, “Well, I’m Ricky Rebel, I have a new album called ‘The New Alpha’ so I wanted to wear something that represented what an alpha is and who an alpha is and I am the new alpha. And I’m reflecting millions of Americans out there who voted for Trump. Keep America great. That’s right, baby. We are here. We’re here all around the world, 50 million of us. My name is Ricky Rebel and I’m a reflection of America.”

Ricky Rebel walked the red carpet in a blue jacket emblazoned with the words “Keep America Great” and “Trump 2020” over a white blouse, pants, and high-heeled knee-high boots.

The rock artist has long been an active supporter of President Trump and faced the backlash over it.

Rebel has love of all-things. Rebel, who is bisexual, has been an advocate for LGBT rights. That doesn’t stop him from being a proud American who knows who is making America great.

He tweeted, as well:

The Only Thing Missing Was Their Hoods

This week the two questions asked of me the most were these.

Did you watch the Super Bowl?

Did you watch the State of the Union?

No and Yes.

According to reports I didn’t miss much of the Big Game.

Of course I haven’t watched the NFL in a couple of years so the entire process was irrelevant to me.

The State of the Union on the other hand was quite interesting.

My personal belief is the SOTU always goes on too long regardless of who is doing the giving.

With that said President Trump was quite entertaining and I found the speech to be exceptionally well written.

So well written in fact the power of the words literally forced the Party of Hate known as the Democrats to stand and applaud multiple times.

The verbiage was so strong even Aunt Nancy couldn’t contain multiple smiles or whatever we want to call her face when it contorts vertically at the corners.

Then again she could have been having a stroke.

How would we know?

After the President was finished the Democratic response was given by an individual who apparently learned nothing in school or from her parents.

Stacey Abrams started off with a story about her father giving away his coat one night to a homeless man. If true I applaud her father for the gesture but dismiss him as a positive example to others as his own daughter does nothing but take and take and take from anyone and everyone. Not only is she in poor health due to her own choices, she’s also hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

Furthermore she attempts to lead the lost even further astray by attempting to save “Democracy”.

Liberals are amazing creatures.

They continue to try and save something that doesn’t exist (Democracy) yet have no problem dancing and celebrating the killing of things that actually do (babies).

Stacey Abrams “coat” was not one of many colors and although it was stated that her parents were both pastors I doubt Stacey would ever recognize the aforementioned reference.

Furthermore the concept of “love” (giving to others without expectation) was certainly not passed along to her.

She has high expectations of other peoples money.

Finally it always strikes me as absurd when someone who chooses to be morbidly obese feels they are qualified to give their opinions on health care.

At any level this is hypocrisy then again her hero Oprah does it every day on televisions across America so apparently what is good for one large bigot is good for another large bigot.

Finally we have some consistency.

I can hear Harpo now.

“And you get a coat and you get a coat and you get Type 2 diabetes!”

Thanks Progressives.

The SOTU after “parties” depended upon one’s choice of network.

FOX tried to be “fair and balanced” and sounded like a bunch of guilty apologists in their attempts to give Mr. Trump credit.

CNN couldn’t be bothered with such tripe.

They drooled, frothed and cut each other off in their rush to one up each others stupidity.

Unsurprisingly they laughed and congratulated each other while genuflecting to the “diverse” crowd standing behind Spacey Stacey.

Last but not least the female Progressives who spent part of the night fist bumping each other and raising the roof seemed to settle right in with their historic male counterparts.

The only thing missing was their hoods.

Robert Byrd would have been so proud.

The only thing left would have been for Obama to give them a eulogy and a hug.

Benedict Barack would have been an awesome Tory.

He’s been a great Iranian.

Was the WRAP UP SMEAR Used on Trump?

by: Daveda Gruber:

We all know that smearing someone can be a tricky thing to do without getting caught. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has some information to share. Yes. she knows what it takes to SMEAR anyone using what she calls the WRAP UP SMEAR.

I believe that this tactic was used on President Trump to create what we know as the Trump–Russia dossier, which is also known as the Steele dossier.

This dossier was allegedly created as the insurance policy that FBI employees Peter Strzok  and Lisa Page texted each other about in regard to then candidate Donald Trump potentially winning the presidential election in 2016.

I found this video of Pelosi speaking to a training class. In it she talks about how the WRAP UP SMEAR tactic is used. She knows all about how it is used for a very good reason. I believe that she has used it and will do so again.

Remember, she is the third most powerful politician in the country. She is the Speaker of the House and third in line for the Presidency.

Watch the video here:

So, Pelosi has stated that the WRAP UP SMEAR is used when a Politician demonizes something with falsehoods and then it is reported by the mainstream media, as if it were true, and then used as a merchandising tool to be used by the Politician because it is written up by the press. It has validation because it was written up and is now in the media.

There you have it. This is why having reporters write about what you say is important. This is too easy to do when you have the media on your side.

Look Who Wants to Defund Homeland Security

by: Daveda Gruber:

Rep. Ilhan Abdullahi Omar D-Minn. is a Somali American politician. She is serving as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district based in Minneapolis.

Ilhan Omar came to the United States when she was twelve. She knew only two phrases of English upon her arrival to the United States. She could say, “hello” and “shut up.” Her primary victory makes her the first Somali-American and one of the first two Muslim women (along with Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib) in Congress.

Ilhan Omar is an avid user of Twitter and her tweets are controversial and get attention from both Democrats and Republicans; both for different reasons.

On Friday evening she was upset that TSA agents were not getting paid and on behalf of TSA workers in Minnesota who haven’t received back pay due to the recent partial government shutdown, she tweeted:

About two hours later she was out to defund the Department of Homeland Security.

The freshman congresswoman tweeted:

There have been calls from Democrats to abolish ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), but there hasn’t been a strong demand to defund the entire Department of Homeland Security, which also includes the Transportation Safety Administration, Secret Service, Coast Guard and Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Twitter users were quick to reply and Republicans, or so it appears, were quick to offer their opinion. Here are a few of the responses:

Before Friday, Ilhan Omar has posted several controversial tweets since being elected to Congress. She accused President Trump of wanting a “coup” against Venezuela and insisted that Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., was “compromised.”

Besides this, she has also posted several tweets attacking Israel, including one in which she agreed with a liberal activist that current-day Israel is similar to the U.S. during the era of racial segregation.

Ilhan Omar also does not agree on the current immigration situation here in the U.S. and she was not afraid to share her thoughts on the matter. She tweeted this:

Will William Barr be the next Attorney General?

by: Daveda Gruber:

President Trump’s pick for Attorney General, William Barr, has had a grueling time with Senators in the wake of facing confirmation to be President Trump’s chief law enforcement officer.

Barr is expected to be confirmed by the full Senate. On Thursday the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced the nomination of the 68 year old Barr.

The nomination  was advanced by a vote of twelve Republicans while ten Democrats voted against it.

Barr served as attorney general from 1991 to 1993 under the late President George H.W. Bush. He is set to be the second be the chief law enforcement officer under Trump.

Matthew Whitaker was appointed the acting attorney general after Jeff Sessions was fired from his position the day after the 2018 midterm elections.

Trump had complained that Sessions was weak, and did not protect him from the Russia investigation. Sessions recused himself early on in the investigation before Robert Mueller’s appointment. Sessions thought this was appropriate due to his involvement with the Trump campaign in 2016.

Democrats have seen Barr as someone who would exploit legal “loopholes” to hide Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report from the public and also resist subpoenas against the White House.

In the meantime, Democrats and Republicans have said that they believe that Mueller’s final report should be fully released.

Barr did say that he will be as transparent as possible under Justice Department regulations.

Regulations call for the report to be confidential. It only requires that the report explain the decisions to pursue or to decline prosecutions. That could be as simple as a short list or a report of hundreds of pages.

Barr, at his hearing last month, said, “I don’t know what at the end of the day, what will be releasable. I don’t know what Bob Mueller is writing,”

I believe that Barr is telling the truth because he has no reason to lie under oath.

It was disclosed by Barr that he had discussed Mueller’s investigation with Vice President Mike Pence. Barr insisted that he neither provided legal advice to the White House nor received any confidential information from Pence.

Barr had sent a memo to the Justice Department last year that was critical of the Russia probe. He explained that it was narrow in scope and based on potentially incomplete information.

Barr also said “it is vitally important” that Mueller be able to complete his Russia investigation.

Barr said, “I have the utmost respect for Bob and his distinguished record of public service. When he was named special counsel, I said that his selection was ‘good news’ and that, knowing him, I had confidence he would handle the matter properly. I still have that confidence today.”

It seems that Barr is honest. He has no problem saying good things about Mueller.

Barr told senators that Trump did not seek any assurances or promises before nominating him.

Trump has called the Russia probe as a “witch hunt,” but Barr was adamant in defending Mueller’s work.

Barr said at his hearing, “I don’t believe Mr. Mueller would be involved in a witch hunt.”

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has taken on oversight of the investigation, made Mueller special counsel. Rosenstein is expected to leave his post at the Justice Department in the coming weeks.

Barr had served as deputy attorney general and assistant attorney general overseeing the Office of Legal Counsel during that administration. He covered work ranging from combating violent crime to investigating the Pan Am 103 bombing. Barr also coordinated counter-terror activities during the first Gulf War.

Barr worked with the White House Domestic Policy staff for a year under then-President Ronald Reagan. In the 1970s, Barr worked in the Central Intelligence Agency as an analyst and assistant legislative counsel. During the time that he worked at the CIA, he studied law at George Washington University.

It seems inevitable that Barr will be confirmed. I hope he doesn’t trust Mueller too much.

What Did You Think of the SOTU?

by: Daveda Gruber:

What did you do last night? I for one, watched President Trump speak. The 2019 State of the Union Address was given by the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 9 p.m. EST in the chamber of the United States House of Representatives. The SOTU was addressed before a joint session of Congress.

The theme of last night’s SOTU address was unity. It’s really sad that the Democrats could not give an applause for jobs, border security, freedom and the lives of the unborn.

But it is the Democrats who want to murder a baby even if the baby survives an abortion. It is the Democrats who support members of their own party who want to raise taxes to possibly 70 to 90 percent and create a socialist environment through their want for healthcare for all including illegal immigrants.

Trump gave a clear message on socialism and the rights of the unborn. He said that America will never be a socialist country. He stood and condemned the killing of babies who could feel pain in the womb of a mother.

This is the first time in my life I have ever seen a president have to stand against socialism and the genocide of the unborn and newborns that exists today. We’ve lost too many babies through abortion. Too many innocent lives have been taken because it was not convenient for the mother.

Of course, you can understand that Democrats are not interested in these ideals that this president has. They sat with sullen faces as Republicans cheered and clapped.

Trump’s message resonated the belief’s of many who believe, as I do, but this did not sit well with Democrats.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, looked lost sitting behind Trump. She didn’t stand up when she should have and stood up too long when she did.

Pelosi obviously didn’t enjoy the night as much as I did. She tweeted this afterwards:

Bernie Sanders, the Democrat Senator from Vermont, did not look pleased but then, his ideals do not align with the president. Sander’s demeanor matched his berated comments that came after the SOTU.

Sanders tweeted this after the SOTU:

This was, in my opinion, the best speech Trump ever gave. It touched on Trump’s accomplishments, which, when spelled out, are part of a very long list.

Trump invited guests to this SOTU, which will stand as a milestone event in history. The guests were seated throughout the chamber and Trump used their presence to highlight the words he was delivering.

The attentive guests who were in attendance were introduced to the lawmakers both young and old. He did an amazing job with this.

World War ll veterans Private first class Joseph Riley, staff sergeant Erving Walker and sergeant Hartman Zeitcheck were first to be introduced by Trump.

The astronaut who placed the first American flag on the moon, Buzz Aldrin, was introduced to applause from the crowd.

Alice Johnson, a rehabilitated prisoner sentenced to life in prison for a first time non-violent drug offence, had tears in her eyes as she stood up for her introduction.

Matthew Charles, who was sentenced to 35 years in prison for selling drugs and related offences is the first person to be released from prison under the First Step Act that Congress passed.

Eleven year old Grace Eline, who suffered from brain cancer has completed her chemo treatments. She had raised more than $40,000 for cancer research and was introduced by Trump.

Tom Wibberley, whose son, Navy Seaman Craig Wibberley, was one of the 17 sailors lost on the USS-Cole. Wibberley was introduced and stood as Trump spoke.

The Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh horrific attack that SWAT Officer Timothy Matson, who is still going through surgeries after being shot seven times while he chasing down the killer, was introduced.

Also, survivor of the anti-Semitic Synagogue attack, Judah Samet, who is a Holocaust survivor who narrowly escaped death in a concentration camp was in attendance and was asked to stand.

All in all, I was totally impressed with the evening. Trump stated facts and did not mince words.

Israel is Building Yet Another Barrier at the Gaza Border

by: Daveda Gruber:

Walls have been effective for many counties in protecting  people. Just ask the Israeli people.

Israel has a barrier that is basically a fence built along the border with Egypt. It has cut the number of illegal African migrants passing into Israel from 14,669 in 2010 to 14 in 2016. The height of the fence was raised from 16 feet to 26 feet and since then there have been no reported infiltration.

This is good news for the people of Israel who are now getting another barrier.

Contraction of the latest barrier, which is an above-ground barrier, has been started and will completely surround the Gaza Strip. The wall or barrier is expected to keep terrorist from infiltrating the Jewish state’s territory.

The galvanized steel barrier will be 20 feet high when completed said Israel’s Defense Ministry in a statement. It will compliment a subterranean wall that is aimed at upsetting Hamas tunnels dug beneath the border.

Tunnels have been a long drawn out problem in the Israeli state.

The new barrier will be built along the route of the underground system. It will run for about 40 miles. The entire project is expected to cost about $833 million and is slated for completion by the end of 2019.

It will also connect to the barrier system constructed out into the Mediterranean Sea which is aimed at halting infiltration from the sea.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted this:

The fence’s construction comes after months of violent mass protests along the border by Palestinians in Gaza.

Palestinians had been flying kites of fire, which scorch the ground, into Israel. These have kites with flammable devices and they are said to be the latest weapon of terror.
Rockets are also routinely fired from Gaza toward southern Israel. they are said to be the latest weapon of terror.

This video shows some of the aftermath of the fire the kites have brought to Israel:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi still will not admit walls or barriers work. Her state that she would give one dollar to Trump’s wall stands as does her saying that Trump will not get his wall.
The State of the Union will be seen tonight and Pelosi will be right behind President Trump. I’m pretty sure that the wall will be brought up in Trumps address.

How much longer will the Democrats hide their heads in the sand and insist that the American people do not deserve protection that works?

There is proof that barriers work and we can see that in what Israel has done and is in the process of doing. Pelosi doesn’t want anything that Trump wants. She is playing games with politics and Americans are the pawns of her games.
