Ghislaine Maxwell Unhappy With Prison Conditions

by Daveda Gruber

Jeffery Epstein’s confidant and long time associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, is not happy about being under constant surveillance by prison psychologists.

Maxwell, through her a letter from her attorney filed in her criminal case, says this is being done without her consent and that prison psychologists are evaluating her for hours on end.

The judge in her case is being asked by Maxwell that her lockup conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn be modified.

The legal team has argued that she’s been held under uniquely onerous conditions which do not provide time for her to review volumes of discovery material before her trial. Claims were made that she would have to choose between showering and reviewing the documents.

Attorney Christian Everdell wrote in a letter Monday night, “Ms. Maxwell continues to be surveilled 24 hours a day by security cameras and is under constant observation by multiple prison guards.”

According to her lawyers, the constant surveillance has been mandated because of Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide while in a Lower Manhattan jail cell last year, according to her lawyers.

Everdell also wrote, “The defense recently learned that some of these prison guards were, in fact, BOP psychologists who were observing Ms. Maxwell and evaluating her for hours each day without her knowledge. We are aware of no other pretrial detainee receiving such treatment.”

Maxwell, who is being held without bail, is awaiting trial on charges she procured girls for Epstein to abuse and then lied about it under oath.

Maxwell denies all charges against her and has pleaded not guilty.

If convicted, Maxwell faces up to 35 years in jail.

Considering the crimes that she’s been alleged to have committed, she doesn’t seem to be treated as badly as she could be.

So far, she is being kept alive.

Suicide Concerns Surround Ghislaine Maxwell

by Daveda Gruber:

Security measures are being taken by the Justice Department inside a New York City jail where the alleged accomplice to renowned pedophile Jeffery Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, is being held.

There are concerns that Maxwell might commit suicide.

Maxwell’s clothing and bedsheets were confiscated by federal officials and replaced with paper attire. This was done as a precaution to avoid a similar incident as the alleged demise of Epstein under Manhattan jail authorities.

It is alleged that Epstein committed suicide last August even though there are mixed thoughts on that issue.

The Associated Press has been told by an official that special measures have been taken. Officials that are separate from the Bureau of Prisons are making sure that adequate protection is given to Maxwell to prevent her from harming herself.

There are also measures taken to protect Maxwell from other prisoners who may want to harm her.

There is a roommate with Maxwell in her cell. She is allegedly not being left alone while she is behind bars.

Last week Maxwell was arrested in New Hampshire  and she was charged with six counts of sex trafficking involving minors.

Maxwell was a former girlfriend and one of Epstein’s closest friends.

The victims who have come forward say that Maxwell was Epstein’s right-hand person who acted in recruiting underage girls in a conspiracy that resulted in their sexual abuse by Maxwell and Epstein.

At this time, Maxwell is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. That facility is located across the river from where Epstein was held.

Will the same fate befall Maxwell that took Epstein down? I’m not sure. I believe that officials don’t want to face the same interrogation of a suicide that was alleged to have been Epstein’s fate.

Then again, there are a lot of VIP names who would be implicated in pedophilia if Maxwell ever does testify.

Ghislaine Maxwell Transferred to NY Prison & Will Plead Guilty

by Daveda Gruber:

On Monday the ex-girlfriend and confident to Jeffery Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, was transferred from New Hampshire, where she was arrested and taken to a New York federal prison.

Maxwell is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

A Friday court appearance in Manhattan federal court has been asked for by prosecutors.

Maxwell is the daughter of the late British media magnate Robert Maxwell. She has been indicted on multiple charges in connection to an alleged sex-trafficking operation that brought adolescent girls who were as young fourteen, to Epstein’s Manhattan home.

Also on Monday, Francey Hakes, who is a federal prosecutor, spoke to Fox & Friends and predicted that Maxwell will plead guilty and that she will be cooperating.

According to Hakes, Maxwell is facing a ten year mandatory minimum sentence and a maximum life sentence.

Hakes believes that Maxwell will likely cooperate and reveal names of others who were involved in the alleged sex trafficking ring.

She went on to say, “She has to do every day of that minimum 10 years and she’s grown up a pampered, spoiled woman. There is no way that she would even consider going to jail for that length of time.”

I would guess that there are quite a few well known people who didn’t have a great holiday weekend knowing that Maxwell could name them.

Predators of children must be held accountable but that would mean that Maxwell would have to give details and possible video tapes which allegedly hold proof of some of the sexual assaults.

Since I believe that Epstein didn’t kill himself, Maxwell must be well guarded and the guards had better be vetted well.

What happens next is anyone’s guess.
