Planned Parenthood Loses Funding for Abortion Referrals

by Daveda Gruber:

The unborn are getting support from President Trump’s administration. Taxpayer dollars will no longer go to fund abortion referrals.

The Trump administration was being sued by the largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood,  along with 20 states and the District of Columbia.

Back in February, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), revamped the rules from diverting Title X family planning funding by prohibiting recipients from using the funds to “perform, promote, refer to, or support abortion as a method of family planning.”

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which has two new judges who were appointed by Trump, rejected the plea.

Planned Parenthood tweeted, “This is a devastating blow to the 4 million patients who obtain birth control, cancer screenings, and other essential care through Title X.”

See tweet here:

Clinics were notified by the Trump administration that they will begin to enforce the ban on abortion referrals and will also a require that clinics maintain separate finances from facilities that provide abortions.

Needless to say, the pro-life movement, which opposes abortion, is very happy with the Trump administration’s handling of this matter and the court’s decision.

This is all within the law as it stands. All that the administration did was enforce the law.

Going into effect next year, abortion facilities will not be able to be under the same roof as family planning clinics.

It has always boggled my mind as to how an abortion is actually planning a family. It isn’t. An abortion murders a baby who would have become a part of a family.

The time has come for women and yes, even men, to realize that abortion is not a form of birth control. Controlling the desire to have a baby, should come before conceiving a child. There are many forms of birth control out there for women to choose.

Also, a choice to abstain is always there for women and men not wanting to use protection to prevent pregnancy. If you play with fire, expect to get burned. That is comparison works in any walk of life.

I had elaborated on my opinion when I responded to a couple of  LifeNews.com Tweets. You can see them here:

Around four million women are served from Title X funding of private clinics. About forty percent of those clinics are operated by Planned Parenthood. Around $260 million a year is provided to the clinics.

Do you want to pay for the murder of babies, as in abortion? Me neither. My request has been granted.

Woman Takes Abortion Pill – Then Wants to Save Her Babies

by Daveda Gruber:

A woman had made a choice to take medication that began the process of a chemical abortion and then she had a sudden change of heart.

The woman, from North Carolina, was six weeks pregnant. She had walked into “A Preferred Women’s Health Center” which is a Charlotte abortion facility, to end the pregnancy.

The un-named woman, to protect her identity, was told “Oh twins,” by a technician who was performing the ultrasound on her.

The pregnant woman didn’t bother to look at the ultrasound, she had wanted twins but she had already swallowed the first “abortion pill” of RU-486. She was also given the second pill to take within 48 hours.

Mifepristone blocks the natural hormone progesterone and causes the lining of the uterus to release the unborn baby, and misoprostol starts contractions to deliver the dead baby.

But as she was walking out of the abortion clinic, she remembered something that a sidewalk counselor told her: “It might not be too late for you AbortionPillReversable.com they can still help you save your baby.”

She got on the phone with HELP Pregnancy Center in a desperate move to see if she could go back on her decision to swallow the first pill.

Courtney Parks is the abortion pill reversal coordinator for HELP Pregnancy Center. She stated, “We got her started on the abortion pill reversal treatment extremely fast.
Treatment was administered by Heartbeat International’s Abortion Pill Rescue Network which had saved hundreds of babies.

Parks and the pregnant woman looked at an ultrasound and the woman said to Parks, “If I had known what I know now and I had seen how the Lord has provided for these babies, I would have never even walked into that clinic.”

Before she gave birth to her twins, the woman was lucky enough to have a baby shower by the pregnancy center. She would have a good start of baby supplies when her two healthy babies were born.

Many women are unaware that help exists for them. Women are told that there is no turning back after the first abortion pill is taken. That is because “Planned Parenthood” doesn’t give women this information. They are not in the business of saving the lives of babies but in ending their right to be born or not rendering medical help even if they survive the abortion.

When I became a pro-life supporter, I had researched the subject extensively. I had reached my own conclusion based on fact.

Babies ripped apart in the womb feel pain. Some babies survive abortions and after being born alive, they are left to die, more often than not, in a cold container and even when they cry out, they are ignored and die alone without comfort.

More women must do research if they find themselves in a situation that seems to require a solution that is not appealing.

There are many ways to avoid getting pregnant in the first place. Ask your doctor. If you find yourself with an unwanted pregnancy, there are many couples who will adopt a baby. There is help out there that does not require anyone to murder a baby.

Women have a right to control their own bodies. Preventing pregnancy, if a baby is not what is wanted, is the most likely choice.

Murdering a baby is not an option. It is what it is called, MURDER.

Anti-Abortion Movie to Hit Screens with “R” Rating

by Daveda Gruber:

What turns a former Planned Parenthood clinical director into a pro-life activist? A new controversial film is coming to theaters soon and will tell the story.

Abby Johnson’s story is the subject of a new controversial film. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) gave Pure Flix’s anti-abortion film “Unplanned” an R rating.

Thirty-eight year old Johnson told FOX News in a written statement, “We are pushing the boundaries of what has never been before on such a wide scale by showing America exactly what abortion is — and abortion is disturbing. It’s violent.”

Johnson went on to say, “In my opinion, one of the most impactful films of our time is ‘The Passion of the Christ.’ It was rated R. So I feel like ‘Unplanned’ is in good company. An R rating from the MPAA isn’t going to slow this movie down. I believe people are ready for the truth.”

Pure Flix is the production and distribution company behind the film. It is a Christian movie studio that produces, distributes, and acquires “Christ centered movies,” according to its mission statement.

The plan is for “Unplanned” to be released on March 29. The movie is a feature-length production and is set to be released on 800 screens.

Michael Scott, president of Pure Flix said, “This is why Pure Flix exists: to give a platform to these types of movies. We’re proud to be associated with this film and we are confident that our fans will not stay away because of the opinions of reviewers and listen to those in the faith community who have seen the film and agree with us. In this case, R stands for recommended.”

Mike Lindell, an investor in “Unplanned” dismissed the ‘R’ rating by the MPAA which is the Motion Picture Association of America.

The co-writers and co-directors of the film, Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman said, “We consider the MPAA’s current standards to be deeply flawed, insofar as they allow scenes of remarkably graphic sex, violence, degradation, murder and mayhem to have a PG-13 rating, whereas our film, highlighting the grave dangers of abortion in a straightforward manner, is considered dangerous for the American people to view.”

Lindell said, “Unplanned” tells the true story of Abby Johnson, who previously worked at Planned Parenthood as a clinic director, but resigned in 2009 and became a pro-life activist. (Pure Flix)

Lindell feels that “the fix is in. Whoever rated this movie must not be watching TV or videos on social media! I have a cameo in this movie and do not appreciate the R-rating. I got involved to get a message out to everyone with this true story. What a shame that some might be blocked by an R-rating from getting the truth. I hope millions of Americans will ignore this attempt at moviegoer suppression and flood the box office on opening day.”

MPAA told Pure Flix the most problematic scene of “Unplanned” featured a doctor gazing at a computer screen that shows the image of a fetus as the abortion is completed. Dr. Anthony Levatino, who was portrayed in the scene, said the depiction is accurate.

Ken Rather, executive VP of distribution for Pure Flix said, “A 15 year-old-girl can get an abortion without her parent’s permission but she can’t see this movie without adult supervision? That’s sad.”

Levatino, who performed about 1,200 abortions over the years said, “The portrayal of a live, moving fetus disappearing is very accurate. You’re watching an abortion. It’s an accurate view of what’s happening. It’s disturbing if you recognize it’s a human life.”

Solomon claimed, “We have three scenes in the film which directly address abortion, and the MPAA objected to all three. They specifically made mention of objection to grainy, black and white sonogram images that were part of one of the scenes. It was clear that any meaningful treatment of the issue was going to be objectionable.”

I’m not the person rating the film but whatever the rating, this film is important for people to see. Maybe it can enlighten some who look at abortion as a normal part of life.

Just maybe the movie can change the mind of someone who thinks they should have an abortion. Furthermore, maybe the film can save the lives of innocent babies, through no fault of their own, are not wanted.
