Even though some states support illegal migrants in the U.S., one state doesn’t want people crossing over the southern border.
California is well known for promoting border crossings but it appears the tone is now changed.
A total of 22,088 COVID-19 cases in Mexico have been reported as of May 2nd. Now southern California officials are seeking aid in reducing cases in the U.S. that are originating from border crossings.
President Trump didn’t resist taking to Twitter to inform his supporters.
Trump tweeted this:
Mexico is sadly experiencing very big CoronaVirus problems, and now California, get this, doesn’t want people coming over the Southern Border. A Classic! They are sooo lucky that I am their President. Border is very tight and the Wall is rapidly being built!
A letter was sent to Vice President Mike Pence by San Diego County’s Third District supervisor, Kristin Gaspar. The letter was sent in April and stated that medical professionals were “increasingly worried about the rapid spread of COVID-19 in northern Mexico.”
The letter went on to say that there had been “a sudden influx of critically ill patients from Mexico” in Chula Vista, California.
Gaspar also asked for senior Trump administration officials to speak with local hospital executives and medical professionals to address the issue at hand.
Daniel Sharp, who is HealthCare COVID‐19 Strategic Response Executive Consultant and Chris Van Gorder, who is Scripps Health President and CEO jointly wrote a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf asking them for help in dealing with coronavirus cases at the southern border.
The Otay Mesa port of entry is closed to pedestrians and vehicles at night as of Sunday.
The U.S. and Mexico’s agreed on March 21st to limit travel across the border to essential traffic only so there is a decreased amount of travel in that area.
Even with that order in place, tens of thousands of people cross the San Ysidro-Tijuana border every day according to the letter authored by Van Gorder and Gross.
The letter states, “Today, coronavirus cases are increasing at rates exceedingly faster among border communities compared to the rest of San Diego County.”
Once again Trump seems to have gotten it right. In fact, now according to the letter, border crossings made by those with work visas or U.S. citizens living in Mexico are not wanted in the Democratic state.
I wonder what happened to California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary policies? What happened to protecting illegal immigrants from being deported by federal authorities?
California no longer wants legal or illegal migrants?

If you have a lung disorder, you’ll be diagnosed as having COVID-19 or coronavirus. Who actually has the COVID-19 virus and who just has underlying conditions?
I don’t know the answer but I’ve been rather skeptical. The video shows me that maybe I’m on the right track?
I’m not saying that you should stop washing your hands, but then, I’ve always washed my hands. Should anyone ever really go into a public place and sneeze or cough close to other people? No! Should people send children to school when they’re sick? No! If anyone has a fever, should they be out in public? No!
Virus or no virus, we’ve learned to act in a polite way.

General Michael Flynn’s legal team have documents that were finally turned over to them has led to rumors that Flynn may be exonerated.
Supposedly, exculpatory evidence had not been disclosed before the new documents were released.
Flynn had pleaded guilty to providing false statements to investigators regarding his contact with a Russian ambassador. He now claims that he is innocent.
The sixty-one year old Flynn had not been on Twitter recently but tweeted out some very interesting information on April 24th.
The tweet showed a court filing that confirms that he has claimed that he did not lie. It also claims that FBI agents stated that they believed him during an interview which was conducted when James Comey was still at the helm of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
In the sworn declaration, Flynn said, “I am innocent of this crime.”
He explains in the declaration that he was under pressure from the possibility that his son could face charges. Flynn also claims that he received advice from his previous counsel, which led him to plead guilty.
Maria Bartiromo from FOX News tweeted Sunday evening that according to sources, Flynn “will be completely exonerated this week.”
It was reported by The Federalist that, according to an FBI source, that material does include exculpatory evidence.
It was also reported by The Daily Caller that they had a source who allegedly reported that current FBI Director Chris Wray had tried to keep the information from getting out. Wray’s office and the Justice Department have categorically rejected that claim.
DOJ Spokeswoman Kerri Kupec said in a statement, “The assertion that Director Wray pushed to withhold exculpatory evidence in the Michael Flynn case is 100% false. To the contrary, the Director has been nothing but cooperative throughout this process.”
The guilty plea from Flynn was one of the first convictions that resulted from the Russian investigation by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

I cannot judge what went down because I was not there to witness it happen first hand but I do know that Flynn supported the Trump Presidency and it is quite apparent that those who did were targeted by the previous administration.
The fact that the Mueller investigation was allowed to go on for so long without any Russian collusion being found shows me that we all witnessed a witch-hunt that ruined the lives of a number of people who supported Trump and that includes Flynn.
During this time of uncertainty and stressful lockdowns, many people still have birthdays. Our beautiful and classy First Lady of the United States turned fifty years old on Sunday, April 26th.
According to the First Lady’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, Melania will spend her birthday in the White House.
Melania Trump was born on April 26, 1970 in the former Yugoslavia, which is now Slovenia. After moving to the United States for her career in modeling, she was married to then businessman Donald J. Trump in the year 2005.
The couple share a son, Barron Trump who was born in 2006.
During her time as the First Lady, Melania has launched her “Be Best” initiative to steer children away from cyberbullying and drug use.
During this time coronavirus (COVID-19), she’s using her platform to encourage the American people to practice social distancing and do whatever they can to help those on the front lines of this coronavirus by sending care packages to hospitals.
There were many who wished her well on social media. Twitter has been buzzing with tweets to Melania, including her husband, President Trump.

According to reports Kim Jong Un may be seriously ill. It has been reported that he was in poor health but the situation may be worse than originally thought.
Allegedly, Kim had undergone heart surgery and he wasn’t recovering well. Japanese media is reporting that Kim is in a vegetative state after having a stent procedure.
Shukan Dendai, which is a Japanese magazine, reported that Kim had collapsed in April while visiting a rural area and needed a stent procedure done after the episode.
The magazine went on to say that the surgeon who was in charge of Kim’s operation was not accustomed to dealing with obese patients and was nervous and that led to delays which caused Kim to be left in a vegetative state.
It is also alleged that an unnamed member of Kim’s medical team gave the magazine the information.
On Friday it was reported by Reuters that China had sent a team that included medical experts to North Korea.
It is alleged that the Chinese Communist Party’s International Liaison Department left for North Korea on Thursday. Details are being hushed regarding Kim’s current state.
But South Korea didn’t agree with the other reports. Government officials in that country claim that there has been no unusual activity from North Korea.
On Thursday President Trump said he thought the report that Kim was ill was “incorrect.”
At a coronavirus press briefing Trump said, “I’m hearing they used old documents. I hear the report was an incorrect report. I hope it was an incorrect report.”
Kim is said to have been absent from the “Day of the Sun” celebration that is held to honor the birth of Kim’s grandfather, Kim Il Sung, the founder of North Korea.
This was an unusual occurrence in North Korea where these events are always attended by the Supreme Leader.
If Kim’s health is not good, there would be a new ruler in the Hermit Kingdom and the transition period could either go smoothly or could cause conflict.
On Thursday Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps leader, Major General Hossein Salami, claimed that his troops will “destroy any American terrorist force” that threatens his country’s ships in the Persian Gulf.
The statement was made on Iranian state TV by Salami after President Trump had tweeted out a message that warned Iran that he had instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass our ships at sea.
Trump had been responding to incidents in International waters in the Persian Gulf where Iranian ships repeatedly crossed in front and behind U.S. ships at exceedingly high speeds and very close range.
Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Navy vessels had made aggressive maneuvers near American ships, the Puller and the Maui, in International waters in the Persian Gulf. Iranian boats came within 10 yards of the Maui.
The Strait of Hormuz is the gateway to the Persian Gulf which is an important trade route and the United States has made efforts to protect it.
Reuters reported that on Thursday Salami said, “I have ordered our naval forces to destroy any American terrorist force in the Persian Gulf that threatens security of Iran’s military or non-military ships. Security of the Persian Gulf is part of Iran’s strategic priorities.”
In alliance with Salami, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif tweeted this:

Zarif ‘s tweet was referencing former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein who had gone to war with Iran before being overthrown by the United States. The tweet also shows a map that shows that most of Iran’s shoreline is the Persian Gulf.
War is never to anyone’s benefit. Lives are lost during hostile endeavors but the United States has more military strength than Iran. It appears that Iran is flexing her power at Trump and the United States after Iran was the instigator with the U.S. ships in the Persian Gulf to begin with. Now that Trump has called Iran out for aggression, they want to make it like they are the victims.
On Tuesday state Representative Vernon Jones D-GA., announced that he is resigning his seat. Last week Jones endorsed President Trump for reelection.
Georgia Democrats did not respond in a good way.
Jones was born on born October 31, 1960 in Laurel Hill, North Carolina and grew up on a farm in rural North Carolina.
Jones was chief executive officer of Dekalb County, Georgia from 2001 until 2009 and in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1993 to 2001. As Dekalb County CEO, Jones presided over the Board of Commissioners, oversaw a 7,000 employee county workforce, and managed a $2.6 billion county operating budget.
He unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate in 2008. After unsuccessful runs for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010 and DeKalb County Sheriff in 2014. Jones was elected to the Georgia House in 2016.
It was reported that Jones told “The Rashad Richey Morning Show,” which is a talk show in Atlanta, that despite his resignation he would not be leaving the Democratic Party.
He reportedly said, “somebody’s got to be in there to hold them accountable ̶̶ hold them accountable to how they are treating black people [and] root out the bigotry.”
In a separate official statement announcing his resignation Jones said, “Turn the lights off, I have left the plantation. Someone else can occupy that suite. Therefore, I intend not to complete my term effective April 22, 2020.”
Chairwoman of the state Democratic Party, Senator Nikema Williams called Jones an “embarrassment,” and added, he “does not stand for our values.”
Democratic parties in DeKalb and Rockdale counties planned to censure Jones for the Trump endorsement.
After his original endorsement, Jones was quoted as saying, “President Trump’s handling of the economy, his support for historically black colleges and his criminal justice initiatives drew me to endorse his campaign.”
The resignation lead to a series of tweets:
I’ve seen more Democrats attack me for my decision to endorse @realDonaldTrump than ask me why.
They’ve used and abused folks in my community for far too long, taking our votes for granted.
Black Americans are waking up. An uprising is near.
A spokesman for Jones said that Jones also will not be seeking reelection.
During his time as DeKalb County chief executive, Jones was accused of rape. Jones claimed the act was consensual and no charges were ever filed. He was investigated by a grand jury for alleged corruption later on. The grand jury could not find evidence to prove a crime.
In the statement that gave his resignation Jones reportedly said, “I intend to help the Democrat Party get rid of its bigotry against Black people that are independent and conservative. I endorsed the White guy (Donald J. Trump) that let Blacks out of jail, and they endorsed the White guy (Joe Biden) that put Blacks in jail.”
I can see why Democrats do not like Jones. Conservatives may want to support him, though. Maybe switching parties would be to his political advantage?
I heard Jones on Patriots in Tune with Toots Sweet and Jewels Jones on Tuesday night. He seems to be a likeable guy who is facing the reality that the Democrats don’t care about the black population in general.

News came to me on Wednesday morning by way of a tweet and yes, President Trump tweeted an interesting bit of information that might be a game changer.
When the United States Navy is instructed to “shoot down and destroy” any Iranian gunboats harassing American ships, that’s news.
There has been activity in the Persian Gulf and Iranian gunboats have been getting close to American ships in the area.
Trump tweeted:
I have instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass our ships at sea.
Last week six U.S. warships were conducting drills with U.S. Army Apache helicopters in international waters. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Navy vessels were harassing them.
The U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet reported that the Iranian vessels “repeatedly crossed the bows and sterns” of the American ships “at extremely close range and high speed” They called the actions “dangerous and provocative.”
An Iranian ship came within 10 yards of a U.S. vessel’s bow.
The Navy has reported that the USS Paul Hamilton, USS Firebolt, USS Sirocco and USCGC Wrangell, as well as the Puller and Maui, which were the two ships that had the closest encounters, were involved in the exercises.
This harassment by Iranian gunboats on U.S. and allied ships has gone on for quite some time now.
The Strait of Hormuz is a key passage where a third of the world’s oil supply travels.
Could these actions lead to a war? That would depend on if Iranian leaders want to fight in a war against the United States and her allies.
In a statement, the Navy’s 5th Fleet said Iran hasn’t responded to U.S. crews issuing multiple warnings via radio, which includes five short blasts from the ships’ horns and long-grange acoustic noise maker devices.
It appears that Trump isn’t going to stand for the rhetoric from Iran. Whether or not Iran will back down depends on if they are willing to show humility by way of backing down.
In an election year we come across many new people running for congressional seats. Some of these individuals catch our eye more than others and I have spotted a really interesting woman who I believe will be a great asset to government.
Darlene Swaffar is running to unseat an incumbent, Ted Deutch, in Florida District 22.
Swaffar has the credentials to make this happen. She is a descendant of ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 and one of our greatest Founding Fathers was her 9th Great Uncle, Benjamin Franklin.
Swaffar wants to carry the legacy of her uncle and return the ”People’s House” back to the American people.
This woman from the sunshine state isn’t a Politician, in fact she is a business owner, a neighbor, a daughter, a granddaughter and a mother to a 10 year old son.
She grew up poor in Bushwick, Brooklyn. At the time she grew up, which was in the 80’s, Bushwick was a drug war zone. She attended St. John’s University and received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. In 1993 she moved to Miami and attended Florida International University and majored in Business Management. She was also an Accounting Major in school
Swaffer is also an expert on Medicare Health Insurance and can advance and negotiate on behalf of Seniors in the state of Florida and help on committees that need her expertise in this field for the entire country.
Living in Florida for 27 years now, she runs a successful Medicare Insurance Agency with 30 Agents, in Deerfield Beach, Florida. As a Certified Woman-owned and Hispanic-owned business, Swaffer is now in a position where she can teach new agents how to run a successful Medicare Insurance business.

Mandatory Term Limits for Congress Members.
Fight against Lobbying that diverts attention to Corporate interests instead of Americans.
Work on Legislation to improve and elevate moral conduct standards and guidelines of elected officials. Let’s send a message that unethical behavior will not be tolerated in Congress.
Institute a Financial Responsibility and Home Economics course across our school system. Teach our children how to balance a checkbook, budgeting and investing.
Rewrite the American Civics course from elementary through college levels. I want to work with Historians who have factual information on what our Founding Fathers sacrificed to give us Liberty and the Republic that we are privileged to enjoy. On average most Americans do not know how our Government works. I would like to change that.
Foster Mentorship Programs between successful business owners and youth interested in entrepreneurial aspirations and goals.

Is the twenty-six year old Republican from Florida’s district 21, Laura Loomer, the antidote to the “squad” led by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? Let’s analyze this.
In an article from the New York Post GOP stragiest Roger Stone was quoted as saying, “She’s the Repulicans’ AOC. She’s young. She’s energetic. She’s feisty. She’s anti-establishment, and she has an enormous national following, as does AOC, which can help finance a congressional race.”
Young people running for Congress are not always given the credit that they deserve. Loomer is full of energy and social media must fear her activism because she has been banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Medium, Paypal, Venmo, GoFundMe, Lyft, Uber, Uber Eats and MGM Resorts.
As for the bans on her, that alone may have inspired her to take a stand and run for office.
Loomer told the Post, “They silenced me and violated my civil rights. I started thinking to myself, that what happened to me will happen to everyday Americans who don’t have my soap box.”
The feisty Loomer leaves a lasting impression on those who meet her. She has some big name donors who contributed to her campaign. Home Depot billionaire Bernard Marcus gave her campaign $2,800 and Eric Javits, who is a former US ambassador donated $1,000 to her campaign.
Some feel that Loomer is a breath of fresh air from the sunshine state. According to filings in April with the Federal Election Commission, her campaign collected $204,786 in the first quarter of 2020. Her total donations are nearly $600,000 and that puts her way ahead of the combination of funds collected by eight GOP primary rivals.
Unlike AOC, Loomer has been labeled as being racist and Islamophobic. AOC has been labeled as being not the brightest bulb in the box and standing strong with her fellow “squad members” on anti Jewish rhetoric.
Loomer appears to be in good hands with Karen Giorno, who has spent thirty years in GOP politics and served as then candidate Donald J. Trump’s 2016 Florida state director as her campaign director.
Giorno said, “The experience I had on the campaign with Donald Trump is really one of the reasons why I took a look at Laura Loomer. She reminded me a little bit of Donald Trump. She is very frenetic, in a good way, constant energy, high expectations of herself and others … she impressed me and I don’t get impressed very easily.”
This lively young woman is running for district 21 and that is where the Mar-a-Lago club is located. President Trump has recently made that his permanent primary address.
Loomer is strongly pro-Israel, tough on terrorism, pro-gun and a stanch supporter of President Trump.
If Loomer manages to get elected, and I sincerely believe that she will, she has a plan to take on AOC and her squad.
Loomer told the Post, “I am a one-woman squad. Republicans need more firepower. They need people who aren’t going to cower in fear of these women.”
Loomer who refers to the “squad” as “Jihadis,” will first face off with other GOP runners for district 21 in an August 18th primary.
Assuming that she’ll get through that easily, next she would go to her final matchup with the Democratic incumbent, Lois Frankel, who is a former West Palm Beach mayor who was elected to Congress in 2013.
Stone has said that Frankel is a weaker incumbent than Queens Representative Joe Crowley, who AOC famously knocked off in a huge upset in district 14 in The Bronx, New York, NY.
The tweet brought a mixture of responses. It appears that you either love Loomer or you don’t. There doesn’t seem to be middle ground here. She’s very strong in her beliefs and I find it ironic that she’s running in a district that President Trump will be voting in. Will she get his vote? I believe she will.
I’ll put my money on Loomer for the primary and then again on her for the congressional seat.
