Resolution to Ban Dem Party Over Slavery Ties?

On Thursday Republican Representative Louis Gohmert of Texas led a group of fellow GOP House Representatives and introduced a resolution that would essentially ban the Democratic Party from the House or change their name over past slavery ties.

This came about in response to House Democrats in their efforts to remove statues and pictures of past members of the Confederacy from Congress’s Halls.

The resolution refers to the Democratic Party’s platform that supported slavery from 1840 to 1856. It also refers to other racist actions by members of the party through the early-to-mid 1900’s.

It also calls on Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from California to “remove any items that names, symbolizes or mentions any political organization or party that has ever held a public position that supported slavery or the Confederacy” from the House and its properties.

The bill mentions that such a party “shall either change its name or be barred from participation in the House of Representatives.”

Gohmert put out a statement that accompanies the resolution that says, “As outlined in the resolution, a great portion of the history of the Democratic Party is filled with racism and hatred. Since people are demanding we rid ourselves of the entities, symbols, and reminders of the repugnant aspects of our past, then the time has come for Democrats to acknowledge their party’s loathsome and bigoted past, and consider changing their party name to something that isn’t so blatantly and offensively tied to slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination, and the Ku Klux Klan.”

He also wrote, “To avoid triggering innocent bystanders by the racist past of the Democratic Party, I would suggest they change their name. That is the standard to which they are holding everyone else, so the name change needs to occur.”

Co-sponsors are Representatives Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., Jody Hice, R-Ga., Randy Weber, R-Texas, and Andy Harris, R-Md.

Although the bill is unlikely to pass, but it seems to draw attention to allegedly “blatant hypocrisy” around the House’s recent approval of a measure to remove Confederate busts in the Capitol this week.

After Gohmert spoke on the House floor, Weber spoke about the bill that passed yesterday.

Weber said, “The cancel culture train, H.R. 7573, that passed yesterday, was wrong on a deep level. I’m not going to get on that cancel culture train that says we have to do away with any mention or remembrance of everybody or everything that we don’t agree with, or that might have said something we don’t like, didn’t like, or that might have stood for something that we don’t stand for.”

The resolution is privileged, which means that it takes priority over all other business on the House floor.

If the resolution isn’t dispensed with via voice vote, then lawmakers may be forced to go on the record on the resolution. That could happen through a motion to table it or they could refer it to a committee.

Seventy-two Republicans and Representative Justin Amash, L-Mich., voted in favor of removing statues of Confederates in a 301 to 113 vote.

Here is the resolution:

Democratic Representative Karen Bass of California said, “Just imagine what it feels like as an African American to know that my ancestors built the Capitol, but yet there are monuments to the very people that enslaved my ancestors. These individuals do not deserve to be honored.”

Many consider a significant starting point to slavery in America to be 1619, when the privateer The White Lion brought 20 African slaves ashore in the British colony of  Jamestown, Virginia. The crew had seized the Africans from the Portugese slave ship Sao Jao Bautista.

The 13th Amendment, adopted on December 18, 1865, officially abolished slavery, but freed Black peoples’ status in the post-war South remained precarious, and significant challenges awaited during the Reconstruction period.

Up until then the presidents were of different parties but the Democratic party had more.

History shows us what happened in the past. Without knowledge of the past, we tend to repeat it.

With that said, Democrats have been not doing well in Democratic run cities and states. Erasing history will not change that.

Still, Democratic lawmakers having been undermining Republicans and instigating probes, hearings, fact finding committees and an impeachment inquiry, all under the guise of  President Trump being unfit in their eyes.

It’s about time that the GOP started slinging some crap back at the Democrats.

Trump Signs Order Preventing Illegal’s Determining Electoral College

On Tuesday President Trump signed an executive order to avoid that illegal immigrants could be counted for the purposes of re-drawing congressional districts after the 2020 census is completed.

Trump signed an Apportionment Memorandum on “Ensuring American Citizens Receive Proper Representation in Congress.”

Trump put out a statement that accompanied the apportionment memorandum.

In the statement he said, “Today’s action to exclude illegal aliens from the apportionment base reflects a better understanding of the Constitution and is consistent with the principles of our representative democracy. My Administration will not support giving congressional representation to aliens who enter or remain in the country unlawfully, because doing so would create perverse incentives and undermine our system of government. Just as we do not give political power to people who are here temporarily, we should not give political power to people who should not be here at all.”

Trump said, “There used to be a time when you could proudly declare, ‘I am a citizen of the United States.’ But now, the radical left is trying to erase the existence of this concept and conceal the number of illegal aliens in our country.”

Trump went on to say, “This is all part of a broader left-wing effort to erode the rights of Americans citizens, and I will not stand for it.”

The 2020 Census counts every person living in the United States and five U.S. territories.

An official for the White House says that it would clarify that those persons in the country illegally would not be included for the redrawing process of congressional districts, which is known as apportionment.

Census counts are used to determine the allocation of seats in the House of Representatives and the number of electors in the Electoral College. It also determines the distribution of hundreds of billion dollars of federal spending.

The White House official went on to say, “Excluding illegal aliens for the purpose of apportionment reflects a better understanding of our Constitution and democratic principles.”

The Trump administration is adamant that illegal immigrants are not included in the census.

At the same time, immigrant activist groups will probably challenge the Trump administration in a legal action.

Last year the Supreme Court blocked a citizenship question from being a part of the census. They sent the question back to the lower courts because they found that the Trump administration did not have sufficient reasoning for including such a question.

Naturally, the Democrats, along with immigrant groups, disagreed because they believed that the question would discourage immigrants from responding to the census.

An executive order was later signed by the President to get an accurate count of citizens and non-citizens who are present in the country.

Information collected through the executive order, as determined by Attorney General Bill Barr, could be useful in determining the makeup of the Electoral College and congressional apportionment.

Barr said, “That information will be used for countless purposes. For example, there is a current dispute over whether illegal aliens can be included for apportionment purposes. . . . We will be studying this issue.”

Once again we have two different opinions here. Republicans, don’t want illegal immigrants to contribute to the drawing of lines for the Electoral College or contributing to the allocation of seats in the House of Representatives but Democrats seem to be on the other side of the argument.

Could Democrats believe that they could benefit from lines drawn that include illegal immigrants in the population? You’d better believe it.

The Definition of Whiteness

One can only imagine how well the “masks” are going to go over when the rolling blackouts begin.

Minneapolis continued to work towards its goal of Sharia.

They will soon be known as the city who chews khat and hates dogs.

Bill DeBlasio propelled his attack forward on the cops who are actually keeping him alive.

Your defense of him may eventually be construed as agreement rather than duty.

This of course isn’t new, yet bizarrely American Jews continue to vote Democrat, and for their own demise.

AOC Backed Progressive Wins Over Democrat Incumbent in NY

A progressive  challenger who was backed by some big names in that field such as, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and the first term Representative from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has won an important race and taken out an incumbent.

Jamaal Bowman is a former middle school principal and first-time candidate and he ran against Representative Eliot Engel, who was the chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee.

The primary election took place on June 23rd but was really close and it took until Friday, almost a month later, to call the result.

Bowman defeated Engel by a roughly 15-point margin in the primary in New York’s 16th Congressional District.

The district covers parts of the New York City borough of the Bronx and portions of neighboring southern Westchester County.

Many of the votes in the primary were cast by mail, and some still haven’t been counted.

Associated Press analysis of absentee ballots that had been counted so far indicate that Bowman’s lead is too far from Engel to overcome.

The victory by Bowman is being compared to the victory by AOC in 2018. She defeated Democratic Representative Joe Crowley.

Engel had been under attack because he spent more time at his home in Potomac, Maryland than at his apartment in the Bronx.

He was also caught on a hot microphone saying that “if I didn’t have a primary, I wouldn’t care” about speaking, while he was at an event in his congressional district.

Engel is a White man while Bowman is Black. So much for assuming White privilege.

Engel landed endorsements from prominent establishment figures while he was fighting for re-election. Some of his donors include the former senator from New York and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, some top House Democrats, and the political wing of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Engel is one of the original sponsors of the House Democrats’ sweeping police reform bill and he played a significant role in this year’s impeachment efforts over President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine

The bill is moving through the chamber at this time.

More and more progressive candidates are appearing on the scene. Some are doing better than was anticipated.

If the Democrats have a large progressive field, there is a certain type of Democrat that they appeal to.

Personally, I categorize progressives as Socialists.

Progressivism is a political philosophy in support of social reform. It is based on the idea of progress in which advancements in science, technology, economic development and social organization are vital to the improvement of the human condition.

Modern social democrats would have you believe that they tend to reject revolutionary means accepted by the more radical socialists.

They also contend that another difference is that some social democrats are mainly concerned with practical reforms within capitalism, with socialism relegated to the indefinite future.

I don’t seem to see the differences.

If more of these progressive candidates get into power, America is going down.

I have an easy alternative. Vote Republican and you won’t have to worry about the U.S. becoming a Socialist nation.

My take on it is, VOTE RED DOWN THE LINE wherever you are.

Is President Trump Allowed to Play Golf?

When President Trump does something you can be certain that people who support him will be okay with it but Democrats and the mainstream media will attack the President’s motives.

On Sunday Trump defended his golf playing.

Trump tweeted this:

The tweet came out after a Saturday trip to Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia.

Trump had time for a round of golf after a campaign rally in New Hampshire was cancelled because of storms expected from Tropical Storm Fay.

It marked the president’s first trip to the course, which is a favorite of his, since the pandemic began.

This was Trump’s 275th visit to a golf club as president. It is the 273rd time he traveled while being president to one of the golf clubs owned by his family’s company.

During the presidency of Barack Obama, the then President played a total of 333 rounds of golf during his eight years in office.

Obama visited a golf course 98 times through the same time in his presidency as Trump.

By late May, it was reported that Trump had spent all or part of 248 days at a golf course while president.

Why is this even an issue? I’ll tell you.

During his 2016 presidential campaign, then-candidate Trump attacked President Barack Obama for reports of Obama’s visits to play golf.

Trump said, at the time, “Because I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go play golf.”

Maybe Trump didn’t anticipate such a stressful presidency and didn’t know he’d need some time to get some fresh air and relax on a golf course.

In my opinion, Trump should play golf whenever he has the time. I play golf and it is a good stress reliever for me. I hope it does the same for my President.

Thank you Dear Reader for your kind words. I never tire of hearing from the committed Citizenry who require Freedom through the Truth.

When will we see Americans finally reach their tipping point?

This depends EXACTLY on what you are asking me.

When will enough Americans vote out the Libs and RINOS and replace them with people who actually believe in America?

We will find out very soon.

Will this change anything?

Probably not.

Despite the depressing Media, Life is simply too good, too comfortable for the majority of the People.

Freedom pays it forward and the freer a society the greater the economics, opportunities and inventions.

These United States have less than five percent of the world’s population but have the greatest of everything at our fingertips. . .literally.

With all this success, apathy and laziness have both become a very mainstream proposition.

We see it everywhere with alcoholism, drug usage, victimization ideology and obesity.

Almost every physiological human problem could be positively addressed by changing ones diet, but instead a large portion of our society chooses to have their bodies cut open for one thing or another, and/or take a “pill” for what ails them.

Once that pill loses its effect the answer is to simply take more.

If the average Lib/RINO doesn’t care about their own bodies what makes anyone think they will step up in the face of danger or even be able to.

I once was asked what I would do if someone tried to attack me.

I answered that it depended upon the situation.

The question was posed as I was working out with a friend.

We were doing some light sparring at the time and I told him I was going to pick up the pace to give him an idea. I went from fifty percent to full speed head movement, feinting, complete jabs, false takedown attempts and circling the entire time. I stayed on the outside and every time he tried to close the distance I just gave space and circled faster.

This went on for about sixty-seconds.

ONE MINUTE.

My friend who is six-two and around 195, and compared to most Americans in great shape, began to breathe hard.

His movements began to slow, his mouth opened, and his hands were well below his chin. At the ninety-second mark I started to dart in and tap him LIGHTLY wherever there was an opening.

Around two minutes he raised his hands, gasped for air and said he needed a break.

The fight was over and I’d never hit, kicked or locked up with him once.

To my buddy’s credit he was IN THE ARENA.

He didn’t whine about being too old, out of shape or scared of the RONA, and every time we meet he gets better and his willingness to get into the fray with someone he knows is better than him is not only admirable but the only way one can really improve.

I learned this lesson in college with a high school wrestler and eventually learned this lesson again and again with a college wrestler/jiu jitsu champion.

The best way to gather knowledge as to how to avoid being taken down and choked out is to work with someone who can do it to you any time they want.

As my brother from another mother used to say iron sharpens iron.

We need more iron and less irony.

More fight and less flight.

More freedom and less fear.

The reality of our current situation is eventually those who require freedom will have to defend her.

The debt is getting worse.

Crime is getting worse.

The lack of knowledge is appalling.

Keyboard warriors believe they are ready for a war.

Trust me when I say this Liberals. . .You Are Not.

A bully will only stop when they’ve tasted their own blood AND know if there is a next time, it will be their last time.

Who’s Not Happy Roger Stone Prison Sentence Commuted?

Late Friday the White House announced that President Trump had signed an Executive Grant of Clemency for Roger Stone.

Stone was sentenced to more than three years in prison. Last year he was convicted on seven counts of obstruction, witness tampering and making false statements to Congress. All of the convictions were in relation to FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Stone has appealed the conviction and denies wrongdoing. He was supposed to report to prison on July 14th.

He would have had to serve forty months. The President stepped in and the White House reported that the President had commuted the sentence “in light of the egregious facts and circumstances surrounding his unfair prosecution, arrest, and trial.”

Trump tweeted:

Not everyone was happy about Trump’s decision. Of course Democrats were against what Trump did but one Republican joined them in their rhetoric.

On Saturday Senator Mitt Romney, R-Utah, tweeted this:

It is no surprise that Romney would disagree with anything that Trump does and has had feuded with the president in the past. He was the only Senate Republican to vote for an article of impeachment in Trump’s Senate impeachment trial.  Trump was accused of “obstruction of Congress” but was acquitted by the Senate.

Democrats accused the president of corruption. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi promised that Congress would act on the matter.

A statement by Pelosi on Saturday said, “President Trump’s decision to commute the sentence of top campaign advisor Roger Stone, who could directly implicate him in criminal misconduct, is an act of staggering corruption.”

The statement went on to say, “Congress will take action to prevent this type of brazen wrongdoing. Legislation is needed to ensure that no President can pardon or commute the sentence of an individual who is engaged in a cover-up campaign to shield that President from criminal prosecution.”

Pelosi tweeted this:

Democrats will always dispute what Trump or his administration do. They will do anything they can, with the help of the mainstream media, to try to stop Trump from being elected in November.

The presumptive presidential nominee and former Vice President, Joe Biden, got on the put down Trump bandwagon and tweeted this:

Stone  is 67 years old so he could be considered high risk for COVID-19.

A multitude of hardened criminals, who committed heinous crimes, have been released from prisons all over the country because of the coronavirus.

Stone is not a threat to society so why can’t Democrats just let it go?

There is a hate that the Democrats and Romney, who is a Republican in name only, hold that is very deep. Could they be afraid of Trump getting re-elected for a multitude of reasons?

Not only are the political differences at stake, there are a number of Politians in high places that may have accumulated large amounts of money that they have not been able to rationalize.

How many criminals are involved in government? Why are they not going off to jail cells?

We live in a two tier system. Democrats who do wrong don’t seem to go to prison let alone get indicted.

Suicide Concerns Surround Ghislaine Maxwell

Security measures are being taken by the Justice Department inside a New York City jail where the alleged accomplice to renowned pedophile Jeffery Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, is being held.

There are concerns that Maxwell might commit suicide.

Maxwell’s clothing and bedsheets were confiscated by federal officials and replaced with paper attire. This was done as a precaution to avoid a similar incident as the alleged demise of Epstein under Manhattan jail authorities.

It is alleged that Epstein committed suicide last August even though there are mixed thoughts on that issue.

The Associated Press has been told by an official that special measures have been taken. Officials that are separate from the Bureau of Prisons are making sure that adequate protection is given to Maxwell to prevent her from harming herself.

There are also measures taken to protect Maxwell from other prisoners who may want to harm her.

There is a roommate with Maxwell in her cell. She is allegedly not being left alone while she is behind bars.

Last week Maxwell was arrested in New Hampshire  and she was charged with six counts of sex trafficking involving minors.

Maxwell was a former girlfriend and one of Epstein’s closest friends.

The victims who have come forward say that Maxwell was Epstein’s right-hand person who acted in recruiting underage girls in a conspiracy that resulted in their sexual abuse by Maxwell and Epstein.

At this time, Maxwell is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. That facility is located across the river from where Epstein was held.

Will the same fate befall Maxwell that took Epstein down? I’m not sure. I believe that officials don’t want to face the same interrogation of a suicide that was alleged to have been Epstein’s fate.

Then again, there are a lot of VIP names who would be implicated in pedophilia if Maxwell ever does testify.

Alexander Vindman Retires from Military

On Wednesday the man who was a key failed impeachment witness, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, retired from the army.

David Pressman, Vindman’s lawyer and a former ambassador to the United Nations for Special Political Affairs, referred to “a campaign of bullying, intimidation and retaliation” as a reason for shortening the military career of Vindman.

A tweet from Vindman in civilian clothes typing on a laptop computer announced his intentions. Vindman has only sixteen tweets to his credit and a video of him testifying is his pinned tweet.

Vindman had been fired from the National Security Council and was escorted off  the White House grounds two days after the Senate acquitted President Trump in his impeachment trial.

Along with Vindman, his twin brother, Col. Yevgeny Vindman, was escorted out and dismissed from the NSC with his twin.

Pressman said that after twenty-one years of service in the military, Vindman retired because “it has been made clear that his future within the institution he has dutifully served will forever be limited.”

Pressman put out a lengthy statement that expressed that Vindman was bullied by Trump.

He said, “LTC Vindman’s patriotism has cost him his career. Today our country loses a devoted soldier, but it is incumbent upon all of us to ensure it does not lose the values he represents.”

Trump has been accused by Democrats of retaliating against impeachment witnesses, including Vindman and U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland.

Sondland was also recalled from his position.

In an article that I wrote on July 2nd I explained that Senator Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., had announced that she had intention to block Senate confirmations for 1,123 senior U.S. Armed Forces promotions until  Mark Esper, who is Defense Secretary, confirmed that he would not block the expected and deserved” promotion for Vindman.

Pressure to Promote Vindman?

The statement from Duckman said, “Our military is supposed to be the ultimate meritocracy. It is simply unprecedented and wrong for any Commander in Chief to meddle in routine military matters at all, whether or not he has a personal vendetta against a soldier who did his patriotic duty and told the truth—a soldier who has been recommended for promotion by his superiors because of his performance.”

Duckman is one of the women who are being considered for the Vice Presidential slot for presumed Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden.

In any case, no one will ever have to be reminded by Vindman to call him Lieutenant Colonel in the future.

We all remember that, right? I know that I remember it well.

Little Sisters of the Poor Get Good News

On Wednesday Little Sisters of the Poor and the Trump administration got good news from the ruling of the Supreme Court.

The Catholic group has been at the center of the national debate when the Trump administration expanded exemptions to the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) requirement for employers to provide insurance coverage that includes contraception.

The Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration acted within its authority with a 7 to 2 vote.

The Little Sisters of the Poor cares for the elderly.

Two related disputes that were against Pennsylvania when they sued over the legality of a rule from the Trump administration. The rule allowed religious associated groups and some profit earning companies to be able to opt-out of providing contraception coverage to their employees.

The majority opinion was written by Justice Clarance Thomas. He ruled that the Trump administration’s challenged rulemaking was aboveboard, but acknowledged the work of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Thomas wrote, “For over 150 years, the Little Sisters have engaged in faithful service and sacrifice, motivated by a religious calling to surrender all for the sake of their brother. But for the past seven years, they—like many other religious objectors who have participated in the litigation and rulemakings leading up to today’s decision— have had to fight for the ability to continue in their noble work without violating their sincerely held religious beliefs.”

The written opinion goes on to say, “We hold today that the Departments had the statutory authority to craft that exemption, as well as the contemporaneously issued moral exemption. We further hold that the rules promulgating these exemptions are free from procedural defects.”

Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor were the two justices who dissented.

A nationwide injunction had put exemptions on hold while lower court rulings had gone against the administration. The Supreme Court’s ruling on Wednesday is a huge win for religious conservatives who have been battling the ACA’s contraceptive mandate for years.

Obamacare will bring the Supreme Court to rule on red-leaning states to invalidate the entire Affordable Care Act.

Democrats are opposed to invalidating the entire Affordable Care Act.

It will be up to the Supreme Court to make that decision but the Little Sisters are now exempt.

It boggles my mind why anyone would try to bring costs up implementing the supply of birth control by a Catholic group with the name “Little Sisters of the Poor.”

To me, the case was lost from the get go. But then, as I always say, “You can’t fix stupid.”
